Victorian terrace house set within a conservation area, overlooking the Eagle pond by the Common in Clapham. The house is 4 storey property, 15m by 6m wide with solid masonry walls around perimeter with timber floors.
The client asked for a contemporary look, open space and plenty of natural light together with total environmental upgrade. The architect therefore decided to make the rear of the house “fly” to open up the space.
