Description
Gennady Vasilchenko-Malishev is an award winning chartered structural engineer with working experience of over 20 years in the field of design-led engineering, working on a wide range of structures in the UK and internationally with aesthetics always at it’s heart. Along side his full time work as an engineer Gennady has been teaching in various architectural schools around UK, which includes Architecture Computing and Engineering faculty of University of East London, Department of Architecture and Civil Engineering University of Bath as well as The Bartlett School of Architecture-University College London.
The book is a combination of my lecture material, direct working experience as well as reference to some of the well known and established authors on the subject with loads of handy information from product manufacturers and suppliers with easy to use span tables and quick reference tables.
The aim of this book is to provide necessary technical guide and help to architectural students to navigate through engineering aspects during their studies and possibly to help with technical questions in their future work as architects.
