Highly complex steel and structural light glass feature stair was designed and fully detailed by Malishev Engineers as part of the refurbishment of the WW2 underground bunker conversion in a spacious family home, located at Frognal, London. The stair features cantilevered steel treads clad with translucent material where each tread is equipped with state of the art sensors to light up at each step with fully dynamic light (any colour) and play musical note from scale!
The stair also features one flight where glass balustrades acts as a bridge. On top of normal design services we were responsible for all the fabrication drawings for steel and glass and bespoke fixing components.
