The design of the new premises of the Society of Genealogists is complete, transforming an existing office into an open space, organised with a sprawling bookshelf that effortlessly blends the library and lounge areas, allowing flexibility for future growth of the SOG book collection.

Glass partitions in staff areas optimize natural light, supplemented by curtains for privacy. Through the reuse of services and lighting, along with sustainable flooring and ceiling options and remanufactured furniture, the environmental impact was notably reduced. In addition to that, existing slab was checked for extremely heavy archive loadings on basis of sophisticated site investigation

The project was completed on time and under budget, marking a successful transformation for the Society of Genealogists.
