This small office studio pod in Crouch End is now complete. Composite ply shells and interior were manufactured in two sections off-site. The two halves were transported on a single truck and assembled by crane on site. The frame is constructed from CNC cut Birch plywood ribs and is then stiffened by a stressed skin of two layers of Birch ply. This construction creates fully composite light weight timber structure. 4 screw piles were used as foundation to avoid disruption to extensive root system in a vicinity.
