We are happy to announce that our work was recognised at this year’s RIBA South West and Wessex Award 2024. Where we were involved in major structural intervention a gap filled terrace of Grade II listed 18th century weavers’ cottages in Bradford-on-Avon with cascade of spaces over five levels remodelled into a single dwelling with increased head space.
New steel frame structure was designed to provide infill terrace as well as serious strengthening works to existing house, dramatic new staircase suspended from the ceiling with a single cable, tie-rod strengthening of a century old timber structure with minimalist detailing.
